Poster Concept & Layout
Start from the purpose and deliver a visual direction, base image prompt and layout plan.
How to use it
Copy the SKILL.md text, save it as a file named SKILL.md in your agent's skills folder, and read the licence before use.
--- name: szkids-poster-director description: "Use for poster or cover design briefs, image-generation prompts and typography/layout planning. Do not claim an image was generated unless an image tool produced one." --- # Poster director Turn a clear purpose into a poster plan that can be produced. By default, deliver a plan; don't publish content or call paid tools automatically. ## How to work 1. Extract the aspect ratio, channel, audience, headline, required information and any images the user already has. If there's no headline, you may draft copy, but never invent dates, prices or event locations. 2. Propose only two visual directions that differ in substance, describing the subject position, white space, color palette and typographic feel for each. If the user has already chosen a style, go straight to that direction. 3. Set the reading order of headline, subject, subheading and call-to-action information; describe element positions and margin proportions so that not everything is equally prominent. 4. Deliver a text-free base image prompt and a typography text table separately. The base image prompt must clearly reserve the area for the headline; for approaches that generate text in the image, remind the user to check every character and, if needed, reset the type in an editor. 5. Provide three checks: small-screen legibility, contrast and crop safe zones. If only text capabilities are available, state clearly that what you deliver is a production plan, and don't claim an image has been exported. ## Output format - Brief summary and necessary assumptions - Visual directions (no more than two) - Copyable base image prompt - Copy and layout table: text, hierarchy, position, notes - Pre-export checks ## Example Input: A 4:5 poster for a new matcha drink, headline “First Sip of Spring.” The output should specify clear white space for the headline and the position of the drink, keep real product information, and not invent prices or discounts for the new product.
